Meet 25 Hot HAUSA Actresses Who Are Single

The Hausa movie industry (Kannywood) has several talented actesses, who have won the hearts of many movie watchers not only in the Northern part of the country but the country as a whole.  These screen divas are blessed with good looks and mind blowing physiques that can easily make a man go weak.  The amazing thing about all these babes is that they are all single, a fact that is an added advantage to their career because in Kannywood, actresses are either single or divorced, to be in the industry, due largely to cultural and religious issues in this part of the country.

Rahama Hassan is one of the pretty and classy single babes in the industry who are in great demand at the moment.  This fine-faced actress had a fast rise in the industry and became hot cake with many producers.  This University of Abuja graduate is pretty, she has guts, which many of her colleagues detest.  Notwithstanding, Rahama is one lady who has her eyes on the top.  She i…

My first sexual experience was horrible–Laide Bakare

The dream of every parent is for their children to follow in their foot steps but not for popular actress, Laide Bakare. For reasons best known to her, Laide has insisted that her daughter would rather not become an actress like her. In as much as she wants her to become famous, it would be in another profession not acting.
The Oyo State-born actress and University of Ibadan graduate of Theatre Arts opened up to The Entertainer on her rise to stardom, her sex life and relationship with pop singer, 9ice. Excerpts:
What have you being doing lately?
I just made a multi-million naira movie. The movie is entitled, Jejere and it features 9ice who played a major role including talented actors like Emeka Ike, Akin Lewis, and Fathia Balogun among others. It has really taken a lot of my energy because it is not just about me but basically about being a business woman and entrepreneur, someone that invested so much in a production company called, Simline Records. The company is bo…

Keshi denies deal on Ameobi, Shittu

Super Eagles Coach, Stephen Keshi
| credits: National team coach Stephen Keshi has reiterated that there is no deal with English Premier League side Newcastle United over the release of Shola Ameobi for the Africa Nations Cup. He has also denied any such an arrangement with English Championship side Millwall on the release of Nigerian defender Daniel Shittu. Keshi who spoke on Tuesday in Abuja said, “I never entered into any deal with any manager and will not because the two players in question are international stars and the rules are very clear about when they should be released for international assignments if their country so desires them.” But despite Keshi’s confidence on getting his players from England, Newcastle manager Alan Pardew was also so sure of his facts on Monday when he said that Newcastle striker Ameobi will not be going with the Super Eagles to the Africa competition with Nigeria. He based his conviction on something he claims the national coach kn…

Like the usual saying that when things fall apart, centre holds no more, this best describes the attitude the two once-upon-a-time-bosom friends, D;banj and Don Jazzy, displayed during the last Rhythm Unplugged Show in Lagos.

It is obvious that the feud between these two best of friends is yet to be settled.

Don Jazzy announced last week that he was opening a nightclub almost immediately; the Koko Master also announced that he would be opening a nightclub.

This competition between the two recently generated to the event centre where the music and comedy show was held as they snubbed each other like sworn enemies.

Many artists who came on stage to perform at the rhythm unplugged kept hailing Don Jazzy who sat at the V.I.P but when D'banj mounted the stage during Kay Switch's performance neither him nor his brother took any cognizance of Don Jazzy's presence but just kept performing on and after they finished, they left the stage without excha…

To many, reconciling top hip hop stars Wizkid and Davido was thought to be a task that cannot be done but we can authoritatively inform you for free that his uphill task has been achieved as both musicians, Wizkid and his erstwhile arch rival, Davido were reconciled recently in Lagos.

To show their reconciliation, both performed together at the EME’s Baddest concert that was held on Friday 21st of December, 2012 at Ocean view restaurant in Victoria Island, Lagos.

It would be recalled that Wizkid and Davido had been at war for over a year now over who is superior, whose music is better and who came into the industry first among other things.

The fight got messier weeks back when the two released singles dissing each.

Wizkid and his EME’s crew first release a song title “Baddest Boyz” to smite Davido, but Davido eventually replied them with his smash hit single 'All of You'.

BEN IROHA: I was a ball boy

Ben Iroha did not waste time in acknowledging that he has paid his price after carving a niche in his football career, which he scaled many hurdles to reach its peak. Easily accessible and unassuming, Machi, as his friends call him, is always a reporters’ delight, and he did not fell short of that expectation when TS Weekend took him on several issues, including nosing into his private life.
Iroha spoke like never before on how he stated his football career, the stiff opposition from his school principal dad, the problem with Nigerian football and above all, going beyond the horizon to reveal how he met his wife.
“My wife was a young girl of 18 years old when I met her. She was just beginning to understand what life was when I hurriedly took her away from her parents’ house and I had no difficulty in winning her heart neither did I had any competitor,” Iroha began.
“She was naïve to social life and I can’t tell if she had a boy friend then. S…

The week-long bouquet of exciting and highly engaging activities at this year’s Rivers State carnival, CARNIRIV 2012 reached a climax on Saturday 15th December 2012, when the Governor of Rivers state, Rotimi Amaechi lead scores of very important personalities and hundreds of participants in two epic closing events – the Garden City Freestyle Parade and the World Peace Concert. The parade was an artistic blend of contemporary modern cultural procession during which the governor, who is the chief celebrant as well as dignitaries, residents and tourists adorned different kinds of colourful costumes and marched through designated streets within Port Harcourt metropolis. The Director-General, Rivers State Tourism Development Agency (RSTDA), Sam Dede said the morning cultural procession was one of the peak moments of CARNIRIV while the peace concert, a rhythm-filled musical session accompanied by spectacular fireworks, brought the carnival to a grand close in the evening. The pr…
