Jubilations As Couples Consolidate Marriage At OPM Mass Wedding

It was something like but much more than an altar call on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Omega Power Ministries (OPM) along Olu Obasanjo Link Road, Eliozu, Port Harcourt when a total of 140 couples were legally and officially joined in holy matrimony by no other but the General Overseer of the Church, Apostle Chinyere Chibuzor. Ese Oruru: Emir of Kano and those distorting the narrative, by Femi Fani-Kayode

All those that are attempting to distort the narrative about the tragic plight of Miss Ese Oruru are evil and we commit them to God’s judgement. The facts are as follows.
She is 14 years old and not 18 and she was abducted from her home. She did not leave her home freely or of her own volition. She was cruelly and wickedly carried away and stolen from her parents, family and loved ones and forcefully taken by complete strangers to a distant land. This was a land that she had never seen or been before and which was on the other side of the country.
The truth is that this is not a love story about two inseparable young people: it is rather a sad and tragic tale about pedophilia, child abduction, kidnapping, human trafficking, slavery, rape, impunity, wickedness, religious bigotry and ritual sex.
Worse still it is an unfolding drama at the end of which Emir Sanusi Lamido may well have a case to answer. The truth is that that little girl would have been raped over and over a…

Julius Agwu Does not Call Me Except to Come and Buy a Table…Charly Boy

During some couple of days back, it was almost an issue between singer and social crusader, Charles Oputa better known as Charly Boy and comedian, Julius Agwu, after Charly Boy had come out to air his opinion about the comedian’s ‘Life As I See It’ show which took place on February 14, in Abuja.
Charly Boy had after the event decided to call on the comedian to focus more on making people laugh rather than turning the stage to a pulpit and it seems this did not go down well with the comedian who later used a picture to make a mockery of the singer.
Well, Charly Boy, known for his blunt way of life has spoken again and this time he made it known that he felt Julius had ripped him off his money because he turned the event to a revival.
He told Punch that he has always been in good terms with the comedian but Julius does not call him except when he needs him to come and buy a table.
According to him, “I just felt ripped off. Like I said, I was looking at other people’s face…
