Nollywood Actress, Bimbo Akinsanya Finally Marries

Yoruba actress, Bimbo Akinsanya, who was once accused of an attempted murder but was eventually discharged and acquitted by a Lagos court, has finally walked down the aisle with her heartthrob.

Few weeks ago, the popular Yoruba movie star held a marriage introduction in Lagos at the house of her parents. The event was attended by close friends of the actress along with her family members.

On Saturday, May 24, 2014, colleagues, close associates and family members of Bimbo gathered for her marriage ceremony, which also took place in Lagos. The new couple held their traditional marriage. It was gathered that the occasion was not a lousy one.

Patience Ozokwo Makes Kannywood Debut

Veteran Nollywood star, Patience Ozokwo, popularly known as Mama G, is no dobt one of the most respect movie stars in the Nigerian film industry called Nollywood.

The movie icon, who is well known for her ‘wicked mother/mother-in-law’ roles in movies, has decided to take her trade to the Northern part of Nigeria where she was featured in a recent movie titled ‘Hassana Da Hussaina.’

Kid Artiste, Ozzy Bosco To Get Into Guiness Book of Records

Mother of young African entertainer, Oziomachukwu Favour Mojekwu, popularly known as Ozzy Bosco Wonderkid, Chief Elizabeth Nonye Mojekwu, in a recent interview, said her son, while growing up, could dance to the sound of an airplane.

According to Mojekwu, she noticed the talent in her son at three months, but did not ascertain its magnitude.

She added that they noticed that there was something special about him when it comes to dancing and singing. “Then, when an aeroplane passes, while in the sitting room relaxing, he (Ozzy Bosco) would start dancing to the sound of the airplane. If you dropped something on the floor, he would begin to follow the sound pattern of the object. We noticed the ‘swag.’”

Ozzy Bosco has featured the likes of Terry G, Lambogini, Olamide, Flavour Nabania, M.I, Tee Mac and Midnight Crew.

Don’t Snub Journalists—Biodun Kupoluyi Warns Celebrities

Actors in Yoruba genre of the movie industry in Nigeria have been warned against shunning journalists. This charge was given by seasoned entertainment journalist and publisher of E247 Magazine, Biodun Kupoluyi.

Kupoluyi gave this warning to the actors during a retreat organized by The Movie Ambassadors (TMA), held from April 4 to 6, 2014 at Badagry, Lagos.

According to the award-winning pen pusher, who spoke on ‘Movie and the Media; A special reference to the use of social media’, said members of the Fourth Estate should not be snubbed by celebrities “because they are hungry for news.” He further advised actors to “always do interviews and be ready to meet with people.”

Popular comedian, Omobaba 1 has released a new single where he imitated a phrase said by the First Lady during her emotional speech few days ago on the kidnapped schoolgirls in a Chibok, Borno State secondary school.
