Let me start by clarifying that I am not looking for a job with the Nigerian Government.
That said, the Government needs to sit up and get its act together. On multiple levels it has its comms on its head. I understand certain critical things have been done to improve the lot of Nigerians. The missing piece is conveyance.
Then there are scandalous and embarrassing pieces like this photo. Nobody in their right minds will approve the release of such a photo of the President to the public. It does not inspire confidence and potrays the government as aloof and defeated. Are Nigerians expected to sympathize with him? Body language is everything. Is he tired of governing? Is he overwhelmed? Is he ill or depressed? Does he need water or some sleep?
If the right shot cannot be taken, the wrong one shouldn't be circulated. If the Principal couldn't have sat better, then there shouldn't have been a release of this picture currently trending globally about the Nigerian President at a time the country is in the news for rising internal terrorist activities.
