At the time I was making this video, my Instagram account had just about 2,500 followers. I’d been on that platform for over nine years, so I didn’t really see the numbers as a sign of growth.
But something happened in the last 10 days. A long piece of mine, which I uploaded on Facebook and later turned into a carousel, got the right attention. In just 10 days, my Instagram account grew from a little over 2,500 to 16,000 followers in less than two weeks.
When I recorded this video three weeks ago, my TikTok was just a little above 30k. Today, it’s heading toward 50k, filled with the right audience I want my message to attract.
That’s why I want to spotlight Ajibola Oladiipo. I admire his energy and composure. He shows up daily on LinkedIn and has also defined his own style of consistency with videos in his area of expertise across other platforms. During the cohort he participated in, many people showed commitment till the end, but he stood out. He was the best participant in that particular cohort. The “results” might not yet be where many would define as visible growth, but he hasn’t backed down, and I love that.
Whatever we do, consistency is the only thing that brings the results we desire. Let this serve as a reminder to everyone: stay consistent.
