Taiwo "Esepo" Agbaje's WBF World Featherweight title fight against Bryan James Wild of the Philippines, scheduled for Saturday, December 7th, at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port Harcourt, Nigeria 🇳🇬 has been POSTPONED, including the undercard, due to unforeseen reasons beyond the promoter's control.
Agbaje was initially set to face Tanzania's Loren Japhet for the WBF World Featherweight title in Port Harcourt. However, Japhet pulled out of the event for undisclosed reasons, and Wild stepped in as the new opponent.
The World title fight has been rescheduled for Friday, December 13th, 2024, in Port Harcourt. Agbaje confirmed the new date via phone call with us at Fight Gist Media: "Yes, the fight has been postponed to Friday, December 13th. My Philippine opponent and I are already in Port Harcourt. After this fight, I'll be fighting Rilwan Lawal next for the IBO All African featherweight title on December 26th at CHAOS IN THE RING at Federal Palace Hotel, VI, Lagos.
