 But the music maestro has what he holds dear to his heart above music and that is his wife - Ojuola Olukanni and his marriage that Asuquo believes have improved his creativity

“Marriage is one of the best things that has happened to me. I am at peace, fulfilled and happy. My creativity has also gotten a boost because inspiration flows when you are comfortable and happy. You wouldn’t know how good marriage is until you get into it and I am very happy that I am with the right person. I have found strength, hope and support.’’
The man who is credited with creating the tunes the defines the careers of mega super stars like, Asa. Dare Art Alade, Timi Dakolo, Bez and many more says he is a simple man who does not like to miss any opportunity, attribute his wife has helped him stay true to and get better.


“I am a very simple person who is goal-oriented and focused. I always love to make an impact and I am always conscious of the fact that I can make positive contributions at every turn. I also don’t like to pass over opportunities and I make the most of every chance I get. I do not compete with anyone but myself and I don’t harbour ill feelings towards anyone. I am constantly trying to beat my own records.”

Speaking on how he gets inspiration, he said, “God is my source of inspiration and I could have the urge to write at any time, irrespective of what I’m doing. I started I started writing songs at a young age so you can say it is part of me now; it is what I enjoy doing.”
