very spirit, nature and power of the people that own it. The Nigerian
spirit and culture has always been a very vibrant, colorful, flamboyant
and an irrepressible one. This fullness of life and diverse richness is
hard to capture, tame and reintroduce into the current trends of the
fashion world but some unique fashion icons has been able to do just

Emem Williams, CEO of Fashion Republic talks about the journey so far with Eric olusesan.
How it all began?
Yea, Thank you! It all began 3years ago right on my balcony but to the Glory of God, we are operating in our store now with currently with 4 beginners and two workers!
What inspires you?
Nature inspires me a lot! Also well dressed women drives my thought far too.
What's the unique selling point of your outfit?
My finishing remains a unique selling point.
How fulfilled are you in your chosen career?
So fulfilled! Fulfilled that i can make people look and feel good.. Fulfilled that i can put whatever food i want on my table..

How do you unwind?
Music! Music!! Music!! It calms my nerves
Advice for the Nigerian Youths?
Degrees seems to be for keeps these days. So get up dust your self and make use of your hands/talent!
where do we see your outfit in the next five years?
I see my self taking over the world and showcasing on international runways
What is style to you?
Style is a way of Life! it's inborn. its in you. the way you dress, talk, walks, sits, eats constitute your style. the way you mix and match your pieces represents your style.
what do you think the government can do to help the industry ?
Nigerian Government can come in by way of granting interest free loans, re-training and just creating enabling environment.
