Hundreds of youths literally run forward to accept salvation in a star-studded unforgettable experience.
Thousands
of teens and young people converged at the Rivers State College of Arts
and Science, Port Harcourt, for the much anticipated 'Love Expressions'
with Pastor Joy Amenkhienan, hosted by CE Port Harcourt Zone 3.
Arriving from the early hours of the morning, these young people were
ready to be inspired and positioned for a great future.
Sharing
with the young people in an inspiring message, the Zonal Director of
Port Harcourt Zone 3, Pastor Joy Amenkhienan, addressed some vices and
challenges that the youths face, such as homosexuality, cultism and
internet use, urging them to be wary of the times. She encouraged the
young people to embrace the higher life in Christ, a life that would
give them the ability to stand up against the world's corrupting
influences.
LoveWorld
music artistes Frank Edwards, UR Flames, the Rap Nation, Eli-J and
Pastor Saki stirred up more expectations in the hearts of the young
people. Attendees were also treated to inspiring dance and music
presentations from the teens' group in the zone, hilarious comedy sets
with Bishop Chikancy and a special talk show with a panel of health
professionals, covering topics such as drug abuse, career choices and
relationships.
One
of the most unique aspects of the program was the manner in which
hundreds of young people literally ran forward to accept salvation and
to begin a new destiny in God. The youths of Port Harcourt have been
impacted permanently from this program, having received new visions and
inspiration to face their future with boldness and hope.
