Nigeria name squad for Ethiopia


Nigeria have named a 23-man squad for the first leg of their final 2014 World Cup qualifier against Ethiopia in Addis Ababa.

The African champions will first meet the Antelopes inside the National Stadium on 12 October.

The teams will then contest the return duel at the U. J. Esuene Stadium in Calabar on 16 November.
Headlining the squad are stand-in skipper Vincent Enyeama, England-based midfielders Mikel Obi and Victor Moses, and forwards Brown Ideye and Emmanuel Emenike.
Coach Stephen Keshi has called up three goalkeepers, seven defenders, seven midfielders and six strikers.
The Nigeria Football Federation is making arrangements to have the squad train for four days in Abuja heading into the opening encounter.
