Read this touching story about how masoyinbo began

Read this touching story about how masoyinbo began , what inspired him and what he went through. This is worth reading. God is indeed great. 👇 “I had just completed my WAEC when my uncle brought me to Lagos. Still learning to speak good English, I arrived at Covenant University to study Computer Science. As a ‘Pako’ boy in such a posh environment, I found myself in classes with students who had been speaking English their whole lives. In a moment of courage, I decided to present comedy in my first semester, but it turned into a complete disaster. I was booed off the stage, starting from my very first line, and the booing continued until they took the mic from me—I couldn’t finish a single joke. I was told never to come back in my life. My roommates had to leave the room that night for a while because those “ajebutter” students followed me to see the face of failure. They dragged me by my ears. The following week, everyone I knew avoided me, except for Lambert Okereafor. Then, one day in chapel, Papa came on stage and delivered a message that changed my life forever. From being booed by around 3,000 students in 100 Level to securing a permanent spot to “Hail The King” every Sunday from 200 Level through 400 Level to around 6000 students—a privilege none have had—and then being personally invited by Papa to "Hail The King" to 50,000 church members at Faith Tabernacle in my 400 Level. The stage I was told not to come back to became my home and the people who booed me became my friends. Thanks so much papa! You truly transformed my mindset. You said "discover your purpose and pursue it with everything you have—your sweat and blood." I am your reflection. Yoruba is my calling and purpose and I am doing it. I am doing well. I teach Yorùbá in Four IV league universities in the US, I have students in all the continents. I am on the verge of teaching the world Yorùbá language and culture with a show called #masoyinbo “ Moral lesson: like i will always say, failure does not define your destiny. Being booed, embarrassed, or rejected doesn’t mean you’re not meant for greatness. Sometimes, it’s just the beginning of a bigger testimony. Coming from a modest background (“Pako boy”) and stepping into an elite environment was intimidating, but growth came by stepping out in courage, even when it meant failing publicly. The same crowd that laughed him, became his audience. Rejection may delay you, but it cannot disqualify you when you’re aligned with your divine assignment, so never give up on your purpose no matter what💪💪💪
