NFF open new headquarters

Nigeria Vice President Namadi Sambo on Thursday formally opened the new, permanent headquarters of the Nigeria Football Federation.
The building, located beside the National Stadium Abuja, was built with excess funds from the 2010 World Cup Presidential Task Force.
NFF president Aminu Maigari told naijaentertainers.blogspot.com that it was a landmark event.
"I'm proud today that the dream of owning our home of Nigerian football has come to pass and we would like to thank the Federal Government and the PTF for making this happen."
Former Nigeria captain Austin Okocha said it would open a new vista for football in Nigeria.
"As a former player, it gives me great joy to see something like this happen," said Okocha, who is also a member of the PTF. "Now, we are confident that this will help the NFF to do a better job for our football."
The building is named after Sunday Dankaro, first chairman of the Nigeria Football Association to win the African Nations Cup in 1980.
Sitting on nearly 2000 square metres of land, the complex has a total of 26 offices, 5 conference rooms and one penthouse for the President's office.
